MDI Golf Qualifies for States, Carter Named Female Golfer of the Year and EHS’ Omlor Qualifies for States

The PVC Golf Qualifier, was held at Presque Isle Golf Club on Monday, September 27th. The course played well, even though it received a lot of rain over the weekend.

It was a great day for the MDI Golf Team, as they qualified for the State Tournament and Senior Emily Carter was named the Female Golfer of the Year.

MDI finished 2nd just behind Hermon, who won the Tournament. Hermon finished with a team score of 343. MDI finished with a team score of 349.

Ellsworth Senior Keegan Omlor also qualified for the State Tourney, carding a round of 87. Will Robbins just missed with a 93.

The MDI individual scores were

  • Shepperd Brown - 86
  • Caden Braun - 93
  • Jameson Weir - 100
  • Joey Wellman-Clouse - 104
  • Carlina Leonardi - 111

The State Tourney will be held on Friday, October 8th at Natanis Golf Course
