
MDI Girls Soccer Beat Foxcroft Academy 2-1 Saturday
The MDI Girl's Soccer Team picked up their 3rd win of the season on Saturday, beating Foxcroft Academy 2-1 on Saturday, October 18th in Dover-Foxcroft.
Cedar Nobel Brown put MDI on the scoreboard 1st in the 1st 5 minutes of the game, assisted by Katie Dow.
After a Pony goal, the game was tied at 1-1 at the end of the 1st Half.
Heleyna Savage scored the game-winner assisted by goalkeeper Gwen Stager in the 2nd Half.
Stager finished with 14 saves for the Trojans.
MDI is now in 12th place in Class B North with a record of 3-10-0. They will be playing for their playoff lives when they host 4-9 Ellsworth on Senior Recognition Night on Monday, October 20th at 6 p.m.
