MDI Girls Nip Ellsworth 1-0
The MDI Girls Soccer Team nipped Ellsworth 1-0 on a foggy night in Bar Harbor on Tuesday, September 18th. MDI scored the winning goal with 45 seconds remaining in regulation.
The fog started rolling in after a scoreless 1st Half. With under a minute remaining in the hard fought contest Zoe Olson crossed the ball from the left wing to Lily Turner in the middle who volleyed the ball past a diving Kylie Robidoux to give MDI the victory.
Sabine Costello-Sanders recorded her 3rd shutout of the season for MDI
MDI now 4-1 will play at Washington Academy on Thursday, September 20th at 4PM.
Ellsworth 3-3 plays host to John Bapst on Tuesday, September 25th at 6PM
