MDI Girls Fall to Old Town 46-24 [STATS]

In a game broadcast on Ticket TV and on-air on WDEA AM 1370, the Old Town Girls beat the MDI Trojans 46-24 at Mackenzie Gymnasium in Old Town.

MDI led 10-8 at the end of the 1st Quarter but the Coyotes put the game away in the 2nd Quarter going on a 20-2 run to take a 28-12 lead at the end of the 1st Half. Old Town led 42-17 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Old Town's scoring was confined to 3 players. Taylor Madden had a game-high 19 points with a  3-pointer. Taylor Loring had 17 points with a 3-pointer and Karina Dumond had 10 points. The Coyotes were 4-5 from the free throw line.

MDI was led by Ella Watson with 11 points with 2 3-pointers. Lexi Tozier had 6 points. MDI was 4-8 from the free throw line.

MDI is now 5-2. They will play at Foxcroft Academy on Wednesday night, January 8th with the game tipping off at 7 p.m. The pregame will begin at 6:40 p.m. on WDEA AM 1370, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device.

Old Town is 5-4. They will host Houlton on Wednesday night, January 8th at 7 p.m.

MDI and Old Town will play each other in Bar Harbor on Tuesday, January 14th in Bar Harbor.
