MDI Girls Double Up Foxcroft Academy 66-33 [STATS]

The MDI Girl's Basketball Team doubled up Foxcroft Academy 66-33 in Dover Foxcroft on Wednesday night, January 31st. 11 Trojans scored in the game.

The MDI Girls, who traditionally have had a tough time playing in the Foxcroft Academy gym, raced out to a 21-8 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter. MDI led 35-19 at the end of the 1st Half and 53-23 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

MDI was led by Mollie Gray with 16 points. Sophia Brophy and Lexi Tozier finished with 11 points. each. Lily Norwood and Calleigh Trenholm each had a 3-pointer for the Trojans. MDI was 2-5 from the free throw line.

Foxcroft Academy was led by Halle Page with 10 points. Madyson Kimball had 9 points. The Ponies drained 6 3-pointers in the game. Kimball had 2 3's, with Shayli Cirulli, Sam Ossenfort, Addie Day and Alli Cook each sinking a 3-pointer. Foxcroft Academy was 1-3 from the free throw line.

Foxcroft Academy is 2-14 on the season. The Ponies will travel up to Presque Isle to play the Wildcats on Saturday, February 3rd.

MDI is now 11-5. The Trojans will travel to Houlton on Saturday, February 3rd to play the Shiretowners. The game tips-off at 12:30.
