MDI Girls Beat Foxcroft Academy 57-34 [STATS]

The MDI Girls Basketball Team beat Foxcroft Academy on Wednesday night, 57-34 at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor.

MDI jumped out to 1 16-7 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter. The Ponies outscored MDI 14-7 in the 2nd Quarter to cut MDI's lead to 2 points, 23-21 at the Half. But in the 3rd Quarter, MDI outscored Foxcroft Academy 15-8 to extend their lead to 38-29.

MDI was led by Lexi Tozier who finished with 14 points, while Mollie Gray had 13 points. The Trojans had 3 3-pointers on the night, with Lily Norwood, Gray and Calleigh Trenholm each draining a 3-pointer. MDI was 6-11 from the free throw line.

Foxcroft Academy was led by Addison Conklin with 9 points and Halle Page chipped in 8 points. Alli Cook and Conklin each had a 3-pointer for the Ponies. Foxcroft Academy was 4-13 from the free throw line.

MDI is now 6-3. They will host Hermon on Wednesday, January 17th at 7 p.m.

Foxcroft Academy is now 1-8. Weather permitting they are supposed to travel to Caribou on Saturday January 13th to play the Vikings at 1:30 p.m.
