MDI Girls Beat John Bapst 51-43 [STATS & PHOTOS]

The MDI Girl's Basketball Team beat the John Bapst Crusaders 51-43 at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Tuesday, December 23rd.

MDI led 15-10 at the end of the 1st Quarter and the game was tied 21-21 at the end of the 1st Half. The game was also tied 36-36 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

MDI had 3 players in double figures. Avery Norwood led the Trojans with 13 points, while Ella Watson had 11 points. Lilliu Hanf had 10 points. Lily Collins had a 3-pointer. The Trojans were 10-12 from the free throw line.

John Bapst hit 6 3-pointers in the game. Stella Goetz finished with 12 points and had 2 3's. Julia Goodine had 10 points. Anna Smith had 2 3-pointers and CC Higgins and Emily Conlon each had a 3-pointer. The Crusaders were 1-2 from the free throw line.

MDI is now 5-1. They will play at Old Town against the Coyotes on Saturday, December 27th with the tip-off at 1:30. The game will be broadcast on WDEA AM 1370, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our FREE downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device with the pregame starting at 1:15 p.m.

John Bapst is now 2-4. They will play at Hermon against the Hawks on Tuesday, December 30th at 2 p.m.
