MDI Girls Basketball Team Awarded Northern Maine Banner
The 2018-19 MDI Girls Basketball Team did something that no other MDI Girls Basketball Team had done before! They were the Northern Maine Class B Champions, and at an all-school assembly on Tuesday, March 19th, they were awarded the Banner to hang in Bernard Parady Gymnasium!

Now before anyone corrects me, it was the Northern Maine Championship that they won. The 2014 Team and all the previous teams were Eastern Maine Champions!
Members of the 2018-19 Championship team were Lindsey McEachern, Julia Watras, Elena Alderman, Emily Carter, Alexis Clarito, Lexi Rich, Leah Carroll, Maddy Candage, Olivia Gray, Rachelle Swanson, Cassie Craig, Hannah Chamberlain, Elizabeth Jones, Zoe Parker and Julia Perconti.
