MDI Girls and Boys Swim Teams Win Class B Sportsmanship Awards

On Saturday afternoon, MDI High School Athletic Director Bunky Dow announced that the MDI Girls and Boys Swim and Dive Teams had been awarded the Class B Sportsmanship Awards for the 2019-20 season.

i have said it over and over that while it’s great to win championships, high school sports are teaching life long lessons. In the long run, how you play the game is far more important than the outcome.

The banners will join others in Bernard Parady Gymnasium.

The Class B State Girls Swimming and Diving Championships will take place Monday, February 17th with the Boys Class B Swimming and Diving Championships taking place on Tuesday, February 18th. Both events take place at Bowdoin College.
