MDI Girls 3rd Ellsworth 6th In Indoor Track and Field

The MDI Girl's Indoor Track and Field Team finished 3rd and the Ellsworth Team 6th in the Eastern Maine Indoor Track League Meet held at the UMaine Field House on Saturday January 28th. The Team results were 1. Brewer 2. Orono 3. MDI 4. Hermon 5. Mattanawcook Academy 6. Ellsworth 7. Sumner 8. Washington Academy.

Highlights include Ellsworth's Kiona Osterlin finishing 3rd in the 55 Meter Hurdles. In the 55 Meter Dash MDI's Ashley Anderson , Lily Turner and Ally Bender finished 1st, 5th and 6th respectively. in the 1 Mile Run MDI's Zoe Olson finished 2nd. In the 400 Meter Dash MDI's Ashley Anderson finished 2nd and Ellsworth's Emma McKechnie finished 6th.  In the 800 Meter Run MDI's Zoe Olson finished 1st and Ellsworth's Kiona Osterlin finished 2nd. In the 200 Meter Dash MDI's Ashley Anderson finished 1st and Lily Turner finished 5th. In the 4x200 Meter Relay MDI finished 2nd and Ellsworth 4th. In the Shot Put MDI's Dorothy LeMoine finished 2nd and Brigitte Olearcek and Natasha Olearcek finished 5th and 6th.
