MDI Falls to Old Town 8-4 [PHOTOS]

The MDI Trojans fell to the Old Town Coyotes on a very rainy, cold, wet evening at Mahaney Diamond at the University of Maine, 8-4 on Tuesday, May 9th, 2017.

Seth Clark pitched 5.1 innings for MDI, allowing 8 runs on 7 hits. He struck out 3 and walked 3. Riley Swanson pitched to the final 2 batters.

The two Old Town pitchers combined to strike out 7 Trojans, walking 8. They allowed 4 hits.

MDI's  Matt Perconti had 2 singles while Alden Fournier and Drew Shea each had a single.

Old Town's Jacob Ketch had 2 singles and  Austin Sheehan had a double. Ryan Hoogterp, Nick Swift, Troy Crawford and Brenden Gasaway each had a single for the Coyotes.

MDI is now 2-5 and will play at Foxcroft Academy in Dover-Foxcroft on Thursday, May 11th at 4:30 PM.

Old Town is 7-2 and plays host to John Bapst on Friday, May 12th at 4:30 PM.
