MDI Boy’s Basketball Hosts Ellsworth – January 13 [LISTEN LIVE]

It's a battle for Hancock County supremacy tonight, as the MDI Boy's Basketball Team hosts Ellsworth at Bernard Parady Gymnasium with the game tipping off at 7 p.m.

MDI enters the game in 3rd place in the Northern Maine Class B Heal Point Standings with a record of 9-1. Their lone loss coming to Hermon in triple overtime

Ellsworth enters the game with a 9-2 record. Their lone losses come to Caribou 58-57  in the 1st game of the season and also to Hermon 48-44. The Eagles are averaging 62.2 points per game on offense and allowing 48 points per game on defense.

MDI will play host to Hampden Academy on Thursday, January 15th at 7 p.m. and then travels to East Machias to play at Washington Academy on Saturday, January 17th at 2:30 p.m.

Ellsworth will play host to Presque Isle on Saturday, January 17th at 1:30 p.m.

Ellsworth will host MDI at the end of the season in the last regular season game on Wednesday, February 4th at Ellsworth High School
