MDI Education Association Holds Fundraiser for Hancock County SPCA

Students at the MDI Regional Schools and AOS 91 were off on Friday, March 17th while the staff and faculty participated in an in-service , professional development day.

The MDI Education Association (MDIEA) invited teachers and staff to “be the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow” for the Hancock County SPCA. Encouraged to bring their spare change, staff filled a pot with $173 on St. Patrick’s Day.

The MDIEA is made up of teachers and staff from the schools in Bar Harbor, Mount Desert, Southwest Harbor, Tremont, and Trenton and Mount Desert Island High School.
