MDI Boys Soccer Team Defeats Bucksport 1-0 [PHOTOS]

The MDI Boys Soccer Team defeated Bucksport 1-0 on a warm, windy day in Bar Harbor on Saturday, October 10th.

Despite playing with the wind in their faces in the 1st Half, MDI outshot Bucksport 19-4. Bucksport was content to pack the box not letting MDI to get good uninterrupted shots in the goalie area.

At the end of the 1st Half the score was deadlocked 0-0.

In the 2nd Half with the wind at their backs, MDI took control, but despite outshooting Buckspot 27-4 in the 2nd Half, were able to only score once, when Walker St. Germain cut down the right side and sliced into goal before putting the shot past Bucksport goalie Colin Simpson with 25:05 remaining

For the game MDI outshot Bucksport 46-8
