MDI Boys Shut Out Old Town 8-0

The MDI Boys Soccer Team shutout Old Town 8-0 in Bar Harbor on Wednesday night, October 5th. It was the Coyotes 2nd game in as many nights.

MDI led 2-0 at the end of the 1st Half. The Trojans received goals from Joe Grubb with just 1:55 elapsed (38:05) and then from Oliver Johnston with 18:41 remaining in the half.

Joe Grubb found the back of the net 3 times in the 2nd Half, to give him 4 in the game. His 1st goal came with just 37 seconds elapsed (39:23) assisted by Jake Ressel, then with 35:07 remaining assisted by Trevor Morrison and then with 4:06 left.

Owen Mild scored with 26:00 remaining. and Oliver Johnston scored 2 in the 2nd Half to give him a hat trick. He scored with 20:58 left and then with 10:15 remaining assisted by Jake Ressel, his 2nd assist.

MDI is 3-6-2 on the season and plays host to Caribou on Saturday, October 8th at 3 PM.
