MDI Boys Beat John Bapst 49-27 [PHOTOS/STATS]

For the 2nd time this week, the MDI and John Bapst Boys Basketball Teams faced off, this time on the Island, and again the Trojans came away with the victory, winning 49-27 on Saturday, January 18th.

MDI led 17-10 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 25-16 at halftime. The Trojans were up 36-22 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

MDI was led by Cal Hodgdon with 16 points, including 2 3-pointers. Lincoln Gray had 8 points. Dylan Stoll had a 3-pointer. The Trojans were 4-7 from the free throw line.

John Bapst was led by Elmer Robichaud with 13 points including a 3-pointer. Aidan Ouellette and Zac Babcock each had a 3-pointer. The Crusaders were 2-3 from the free throw line.

MDI is now 7-5. They will play at Hermon on Tuesday, January 21st at 7 p.m.

John Bapst is now 3-7. They will play at Old Town on Tuesday, January 21st at 7 p.m.
