MDI Boys Beat Washington Academy 81-45 to Start Season [STATS]

The MDI Boy's Basketball Team beat Washington Academy 81-45 on Saturday afternoon, December 6th to start the 2025-26 season in Bar Harbor.

MDI raced out to a 25-9 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter and led the Raiders 46-26 at the end of the 1st Half. The Trojans led 70-33 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

MDI had 3 players in double figures. James Witham had a game-high 23 points, with a 3-pointer. Preston Tripp had 12 points with 2 3-pointers. Dylan Stoll had 11 points with a 3-pointer. Kenneth Stillwell drained 2 3-pointers. MDI was 11-17 from the free throw line.

Noah Faulkingham was the high-scorer for Washington Academy finishing with 21 points and 3 3-pointers. Giovanni Favussi had 2 3-pointes and Jamal Harmon had a 3-pointer. The Raiders were 3-6 from the free throw line.
