The MDI Trojans rode the arm of Seth Clark to a 1-0 victory over the Oceanside Mariners on Monday afternoon in Bar Harbor in a Class B North Prelim Game.

Clark pitched a complete game for the Trojans, allowing just 2 hits and striking out 6 while walking 2.

Logan Sheridan pitched the 1st 3.2 innings for Oceanside, allowing 3 hits, 1 run and striking out 1. Jack Freeman pitched the final 2.1 innings, striking out 2 and not allowing a hit. Neither Mariner pitcher walked a batter.

MDI scored the only run in the game in the bottom of the 2nd inning, when Mac Shea scored Drew Shea with a 2 out single. Drew Shea had doubled with 2 out.

Fin McConomy had MDI's other hit.  Derek Collin and McConomy had stolen bases for the Trojans.

Tim Mazzeo and Titus Kaewthong had the Mariner's lone hits.

MDI is now 11-6 and will travel to South China on Wednesday, June 7th to play the 13-3 Erksine Academy Eagles.

Oceanside finishes their season with a 9-8 mark.
