MDI Girls Host Ellsworth – Wednesday January 14 [LISTEN LIVE]

The MDI Girls Basketball Team hosts Ellsworth in the Class B Girl's Battle for Hancock County supremacy on Wednesday night, January 14th. The game tips-off at 7 p.m.

The MDI Girls enter the day in 4th place in the Class B North Heal Points with a record of 8-3 while Ellsworth begins the day in 5th place with a record of 7-4. The Trojan have been off since their win over Belfast (77-38) on January 8th. Ellsworth has lost their 3 games including a overtime loss to Old Town (54-44) on Monday.

The game will have a lot of implications for both teams. With a win MDI will move up into 3rd, ahead of Hermon, while a Ellsworth win will move them up into 3rd.

The 2 teams will meet again in the last game of the regular season on Tuesday, February 3rd in Elsworth.
