MDI Basketball Games at Washington Academy Saturday Postponed – Season Extended
Because of the expected life-threatening wind chill temperatures, Saturday's MDI Basketball games at Washington Academy have been postponed, and the Maine Principal's Association has announced that the season will be extended a day, with the last countable game scheduled to be played by Friday, February 10th.
The MDI Girls will now play in East Machias on Thursday, February 9th with the JV playing at 5 p.m. and with the Varsity playing at 6:30 p.m.
The MDI Boys will now play in East Machias on Friday, February 10th with the JV playing at 5 p.m. and with the Varsity playing at 6:30 p.m.
The Varsity games will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled devices.
