MDI Band Excels at Berklee [VIDEO]

Congratulations to the 21 MDI musicians under the direction of Michael Remy who performed at the Berklee Jazz Festival in Boston on Saturday, February 6th.

Both Big Group and Combo Ratwolf scored 40 points higher than last year and continue to wow the judges. Special congratulations to Senior Kevin Elk on drums, for earning two Judges Choice Awards and an Outstanding Musicianship Award.

The MDI Music Boosters are hosting the District VI Jazz Festival on Wednesday, February 24th from 9AM to 9 PM. Admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for Students and Seniors with a maximum of $10.00 per family.
