MDI and Ellsworth Jazz Combos Excel at Regionals

It was a good day for the MDI and Ellsworth Jazz Combos competing at Regionals at George Stevens Academy on Wednesday, February 27th.

MDI High School had 7 groups competing and Ellsworth High School had 3 groups competing. All groups scored a 1, the highest possible and will be advancing to the State Finals in South Portland on March 15th and 16th.

According to Jamie Calandro, Ellsworth senior Kaitlin McCullough received a 1 rating as a solo for all 3 ensembles.
