MDI 2-Hits Washington Academy Winning 7-0 [PHOTOS]

The MDI Trojans beat the Washington Academy Raiders 7-0 in Bar Harbor on Wednesday, April 30th as Taylor Grant threw a 2-hitter striking out 17.

Grant allowed just 1 walk, in picking up the complete-game win.

Grace Hodgdon blasted a 2-run homer and finished 1-2. Lexi Tozier was 2-4 with a double and 2 runs batted in. Ella Watson leading off was 2-4. Alahna Terry had a single and run batted in.

Terry, Cate Brown and Alli Horner each swiped a base for MDI.

Bella Cirone pitched a complete game for the Raiders. She struck out 11 and walked 3. She allowed 7 runs but just 2 were earned.

MDI is 1-0. They will host Old Town on Saturday, May 3rd at 11 a.m.

Washington Academy is 2-1. They will host Foxcroft Academy on Friday, May 2nd at 4:30 p.m.
