MDI High School's Lindsey McEachern  threw a no-hitter on Saturday, May 11th as the Trojans snapped a 2 game losing streak, beating the Washington Academy Raiders 14-0 in a mercy rule shortened game.

McEachern threw a 5 inning complete game, striking out 12 of the 17 batters she faced. She walked 2.

McEachern was 2-3 from the plate with 2 singles. Hannah Chamberlain and  Leah Carroll each had 2 singles. Lily Cook had 2 hits, including a double. Bailey Goodell, Madison Jones and Hannah Hanscom each had a single. The Trojans stole 11 bases with McEachern and Carroll swiping 3 each. Chamberlain, Hanscom, Goodell, Jones and Sadie Sullivan each stole 1 base.

Haley Libby took the loss for the Raiders. She struck out 5 and walked 6

MDI is now 4-5 and will play at Ellsworth on Monday, May 13th at 4:30

Washington Academy is 0-8 and plays host to Hermon on Tuesday, May 14th at 4:30
