Maine’s Favorite Halloween Candy
Halloween is quickly approaching and Thrillist has come out with each state's favorite candy.
I was very surprised to find out that Sour Patch Kids was Maine's favorite Halloween candy! Maine joins 4 other states (Illinois, Massachusets, Nebraska, and New York) with Sour Patch Kids as the favorite. Mainers in fact purchase 58,290 pounds of Sour Patch Kids each Halloween. That's a lot of bags of Sour Patch Kids. M&M's are Mainers second favorite with 45,938 pounds and Starbursts are the 3rd favorite with 16,782 pounds.
If you come to my house we won't have Sour Patch Kids. We hand our big bars/bags of Snickers, Milky Way, Butterfingers, Twix, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and M&M's
