Earlier today, I re-blogged the post about the horrible internet hoax that broke the heart of Seamus, Maine’s beloved Leprechaun. I haven’t seen Seamus since that night back in January, but he has sent me the occasional email or text telling me that his heart is still in pieces, and that he is off trying to find himself.

I’ve been very worried about my little friend. I’ve also been a bit anxious because he left his pot of gold in my care and I’ve kept it hidden here at The House on the Hill. I had to have my witch friend Waltzing Matilda cast a spell over the house to make the rainbow invisible. The darn thing was like a treasure map leading marauders to my front door.

Seamus wrote to me today to wish me a Happy St. Patrick’s Day, and he asked if I would share some of the limericks he’s written to help him deal with his grief. I’d do anything for the little guy, so I am going to post a few of his pieces here for you.

I know it’s a little rough and depressing, but my friend asked for my help and I am most certainly going to give it to him. I hope you enjoy Seamus’ writing....

The once was a Leprechaun in Maine, Who was certain he was going insane, He would trade all of his gold, To get rid of the cold, And turn all the snow into rain.
