Lost and Potentially Injured Dog in Southwest Harbor [UPDATE]

12:30 Update - Nitro came home on his own. Good boy.. now stay!

Nitro is missing and presumed injured after a woman called the Southwest Harbor Police Station last night around 5 PM saying he had been hit by a car but still running.

Nitro is a red nose pitbull and is described as very friendly. He ran off in Southwest Harbor last night, March 1st. He normally won't get into a vehicle with someone he doesn't know.

He ran away from his home on the Seal Cove Road and has been seen at the Circle K in Southwest Harbor as well as at the Southwest Food Mart.
