Lamoine Consolidated School Holds Closing Ceremonies for WinterKids Program

The Lamoine Consolidated School held their closing ceremonies for the WinterKids Program.

The Lamoine Consolidated School has spent the past 4 weeks competing with 15 other schools across Maine for the grand prize in Maine WinterKids’ 8th Annual 2025 Winter Games. Teachers and students have been taking the learning outside with activities covering the weather topics of temperature, precipitation, wind, and clouds.

Guest speakers included Rema Mitchell from Furry Husky Kiddos, Madison Jones from Seal Point Farm, Kelly Bennett, and Becca Jordan.

WinterKids is a unique annual academic challenge encourages outdoor physical activity, teamwork, and a passion for learning outdoors in winter.
