If you thought that Kebo Valley Golf Course played tough on the 1st Day of the Maine Amateur on Tuesday, July 13th, it was nothing compared to Day 2 on Wednesday July 14th.

On Tuesday the best round was a 2-under par 68 and 2 players carded rounds of 70 for even par. On Wednesday, the best round was a par 70, with only 1 player carding a 1 over par 71.

Wednesday was particularly tough for MDI Girl's Basketball Coach Brent Barker. He entered the day 3 over par, 5 shots back with a 73. However on Wednesday he scored a 82 and was 15 strokes over par. The cut was at plus 13.

Local Wyman Tapley is still playing finishing 2 rounds with scores of 75 and 76 to be at plus 11 tied for 24th. He tees off at 8:30 in the final round.
