Jordan and Philbrook Named Lamoine’s Co-Citizens of the Year [PHOTOS]

On Memorial Day, May 25, 2020, Kasey Jordan and Lily Philbrook, a pair of MDI High School students, were named Lamoine's Co-Citizens of the Year for 2019.

The awards were supposed to have been presented at Lamoine's Town Meeting on March 18th but that was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It seemed only fitting for them to be presented their plaques on Memorial Day, given the fact they received the award for their years of dedication to Veterans, including their work at the Lamoine Veteran's Memorial, flag planting, wreath, laying, marching in parades, flag ceremonies, and more.
