It looks like one of the world's most favorite comedians visited eastern Maine this weekend.

The Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon, made a trip to visit a friend (safely) in Lubec this past weekend and posted on Instagram a video and a photo of himself checking out the infamous West Quoddy Head Lighthouse at Quoddy Head State Park.

One of his posts, a video, mentioned his view yesterday morning, on SUNday and how the sun rises in Lubec, Maine first.

Next, he posted a photo wearing his mask.  And, do I see Jamie Foxx in the comments?

The post stated:

Visited (safely) a friend in Maine. Decided to get up early and see the sunrise in the easternmost point in the United States. Lubec, ME. I did. Low visibility. It was still awesome.

Jimmy is no stranger to the eastern Maine region and seems to be especially fond of the Lubec area.  Three years ago around this time, Jimmy Fallon and Lorne Michaels were spotted in Downeast at Lubec Brewing Company enjoying a pint.

Here's to hoping Jimmy had a great trip and we look forward to possibly partying with him next fall, perhaps in the Lubec area around sunrise ;)
