Jamie Gonzalez’s Celebration of Life Set for August 26th
Jamie Gonzalez passed away on July 5th, at the age of 73.
An obituary was published on the Jordan-Fernald website.
It has been announced that a public celebration of Jamie's life will be held on Saturday, August 26th from 2 to 5 p.m. at MDI High School. This will be an open celebration and everyone Is welcome. If you knew Jamie, you're invited!
Back on February 4th, 2015 Jamie was surprised when Athletic Director Bunky Dow stopped him from sweeping the court prior to the MDI-Ellsworth Girl's Basketball Game, a perfect time given his love of MDI Athletics. He received numerous, richly deserved standing ovations, and some great gifts.
