James to Compete in New England’s June 19

Two time Female Golfer of the Year, Gabbie James from MDI High School is busy practicing for the New England Interscholastic Golf Championships which will be held on Wednesday, June 19th at Bretwood Golf Course in Keene, New Hampshire

The "New England's" features the top 12 boys and girls from each state in New England, competing in a 1 day, stroke play tournament.

James is just finishing her junior year at MDI. She shot a 91 at the State Tournament which was held at Natanis in Vassalboro, which qualified her 9th in the State of Maine.

She is only 1 of 4 femaie golfers from Northern Maine to qualify for the New Englands
