Throw your caps in the air for the Class of 2024!

Hard to believe that May is here again, and that means a whole slew of young adults moving on from college, and into the world to live out their dreams.

It will be a crazy weekend here in the area. Not only is it Graduation Day, but it is also Kentucky Derby party weekend...and Cinco De Mayo is on Sunday!

If you are not able to attend either the University of Maine or Husson University ceremonies, both schools will be offering a live stream of the events. This really comes in handy if you live out of state, and have a loved one who is graduating this year.

On Friday, at Harold Alfond Arena, the University of Maine will recognize upward of 1,680 undergraduates in the class of 2024, who are expected to participate in the 22nd commencement ceremonies at 4 pm. A total of nearly 10,000 are likely to attend.

Undergraduate ceremonies will be held Saturday at 9:30 am, with an additional session at 2:30 pm.

All the events of the weekend will be live-streamed and available here.

Tips for attending the ceremony can be found there as well.

The Husson University 2024 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 4th, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

The doors to the facility will open for guests at 8:30 a.m. The ceremony will last roughly 2.5 hours.

Early arrival is recommended to avoid traffic congestion and to obtain choice seating!

You can watch the live feed of the Husson graduation here.
