Celebrating a birthday during this time of social distancing and not being nearer than 6 feet from anyone other than your family living in the same household is difficult! But, kudos to the Island Community for making 8 year old Brody Downsland's birthday one he'll remember!

After all, how many 8 year olds can say they had a private parade for their birthday, complete with firetrucks from Northeast Harbor, Southwest Harbor, Bar Harbor and Tremont, as well as a police car from the Southwest Harbor Police Department and an ambulance from the Southwest Harbor-Tremont Ambulance service?
