Inaugural Jimmy Card Celebration of Life Games – Saturday January 19th

Jimmy Card was one of those individuals who was larger than life. He cared deeply about his family, the area youth, Ellsworth High School and Maine Maritime Academy. His passing left a big hole in the community.

This Saturday, there will be the Inaugural Jimmy Card Celebration of Life Games at Smith Gymnasium at Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. The Maine Maritime Academy Mariners will play host to the UMPI Owls with the men playing at 2PM and women playing at 4PM.

All proceeds from Saturday's games will go towards the Jimmy Card Scholarship Fund, to benefit an Ellsworth High School student who is attending Maine Maritime Academy.
