Join The Conners Emerson Community In Supporting Those In Need

In 2020 year we became aware of a program of the Conners Emerson School's Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) named "CES CARES" and when we posted and talked about it, you have responded generously, each year, from 2020 thru 2024. We put this out there again, in the hopes that you will be able to do the same in 2025

As we all know there are families who are struggling during the Holiday Season, and this year, with the effects of  the curtailment in SNAP benefits, and the government shutdown, with many Acadia National Park employees and others furloughed and not receiving checks for the better part of  month, along with inflation, higher taxes and more, the need is even greater.

In 2018 the PTSA at Conners Emerson introduced CES CARES, a program that distributes gift cards to help support Conners Emerson families in need.

If you are able, we ask that you please consider making a donation to lend a helping hand to members of the Conners Emerson community. Donations may be sent to the school in an envelope marked "CES CARES" with your student or donations may be mailed to

Checks may be made out to "CES PTSA" with "CES CARES" in the memo. 100 per cent of your donation will go towards purchasing gift cards to be distributed before the holidays to those families who could use some extra support at this time.

Note- These gift cards are normally given out before Christmas, but this year because of the lack of SNAP benefits and other factors, they want to give these out by November 24th. Gifts are accepted year-round, but if you could make your donations by November 21st this year it would be most appreciated!
