Heading to Houlton

The MDI Basketball Teams are taking the long drive up I-95 to take on the Houlton Shiretowners in their 2nd to last game of the 2016-17 regular season on Saturday, February 4th. The MDI Boys will play at 1:30 after the Boy's JV Game. We anticipate the pregame beginning at 1:15. MDI sits in 1st place in the Heal Point Standings with a record of  14-2. Houlton is in 11th place with a record of 9-6. A win by MDI either today against Houlton or Thursday at Ellsworth should insure that the Trojans finish the regular season in 1st place and they will receive an automatic bye to play in the Tourney at the Cross Insurance Center.

The MDI Girls will play at 4:30 in the last of 4 games today. We anticipate the pregame beginning around 4:15. MDI sits in 8th place with a record of 10-6 in the Heal Point Standings. Houlton is in 1st place with a record of 14-1. MDI needs a victory against Houlton today, or at Ellsworth on Wednesday, to insure they will host a home prelim game on Tuesday, February 14th otherwise they'll be on the road if they finish below 8th place.
