Hancock County Technical Center's National Technical Honor Society students are active in the community performing community service for organizations. Normally they perform such tasks as helping with the decorating the Pointsetta Ball, helping with food drives and at the Community Closet. But this year, with COVID-19 limiting their interactions with the community, they pivoted and made 300 Holiday Cards for distribution to local nursing homes.

According to Michelle Cote, the NTHS (National Technical Honor Society) advisor, cards will be distributed to Seaport Village Healthcare, Courtland Rehabilitation and Living Center and Narraguagus Bay Health Care on Wednesday December 23rd.

A special shout-out to MDI High School's Heather Finger, who made 85 homemade cards herself.
