Hancock Grammar School Kindergarten and Pre-K Registration for 2026-27 School Year

If you have a child that will be 4 or 5 years old by October 15, 2026 and you live in Hancock or Franklin, then you'll want to pay attention!

Children who will turn 4 by October 15th are eligible for Pre-K in the Fall and Children who will turn 5 by October 15 are eligible for Kindergarten. Registration for both Pre-K and Kindergarten will take place on Thursday April 9th at the Hancock Grammar School.

If your child is currently enrolled in Hancock Grammar School's Pre-K program they do not need to register for Kindergarten.

Please call Mrs. Dyer in the office at 422-6231  to schedule a Pre-K or Kindergarten Screening and Registration appointment for the 2026-2027 school year. Kindergarten Registration and Screening will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. on April 9th.  Pre-K Registration and Screening will take place from 8:30 to 9; 9 to 9:30 and 9:30 to 10 a.m.

You will need to bring the following documents to registration

• Child's birth certificate
• Your Driver's License
• Child's Updated Immunization Records
• Proof of Residency in Hancock or Franklin
