Hackett Named Ellsworth High School’s New Softball Coach

A familiar face will be in the dugout as Ellsworth High School's new Varsity Softball Coach for the 2019 Spring season. Jake Hackett has been named the new coach.

He is currently the Jobs for Maine Graduates teacher at Ellsworth High School, and prior to that was an Ed Tech at the High School. Prior to coming to Ellsworth High School he was the Athletic Director at Greenville High School for 2 years.

Jake has coach the JV Softball Team for the last 2 years at Ellsworth High School, and has coached the Baseball Team at Greenville.

He is currently the JV Girls Soccer Coach as well as the JV Girls Basketball Coach and Assistant Coach to the Girls Varsity Basketball Team.

Pitchers and catchers report the week of March 18th with the rest of the squad beginning the week of March 25th
