Friday was a good day for the George Stevens Academy Boy's and Girl's Soccer Teams, as both came home with wins.

In the Boy's Game the Eagles beat the Mt. View Mustangs 2-0. GSA received goals from Linus Murphy and Jack Carson. Charlie Sullivan recorded 12 saves in goal to earn the shutout.

GSA is now 2-2. They will host Washington Academy on Tuesday, September 16th at 4 p.m.

The Mustangs are now 2-1. They will travel to Lawrence to play the Bulldogs on Tuesday, September 16th at 6 p.m.

The George Stevens Academy Girl's Team shutout Searsport 9-0 in a game that was stopped due to the mercy rule. Halle Clifford had 4 goals to lead the Eagle's attack. Logan Townsend and Bronwynn Crownover each scored 2 goals, with Emma Perry-St. Peter scoring GSA's other goal.

The GSA Girls are now 3-2. They will travel to Sullivan to play the Sumner Memorial Tigers on Monday, September 15th at 4 p.m.

Searsport is 0-3 on the season. They will travel to Deer-Isle Stonington on Monday, September 15th to play the Mariners at 4 p.m.
