Aurora Simmons Leads GSA To Victory Over Bucksport

The George Stevens Academy Girl's Basketball Team improved to 4-0, beating Bucksport 53-26 in Blue Hill on Wednesday, December 17th.

GSA raced out to a 15-0 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter and led 27-5 at the end of the 1st Half The Eagles led 41-14 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

GSA was led by Aurora Simmons with 16 points. Taylor Grego had 13 points with a 3-pointer. Layla Hutchins had 10 points. Marnie Gleason had a 3-pointer. The Eagles were 5-12 from the free throw line.

Bucksport was led by Ella Simpson with 5 points. Addison Fitch had a 3-pointer. The Golden Bucks were 7-10 from the free throw line.

GSA, now 4-0 will play in Harrington against Narraguagus on Friday, December 19th at 6:30 p.m.

Bucksport is 1-4. They will play at Waterville against the Panthers on Saturday, December 20th at 10:30 a.m.
