What better cause to play a round of golf for?  Supporting kids with cancer right here in the Bangor area.

The 9th Annual Heroes-Hope-Healing McDonald's Golf Classic will raise money to support the Playroom and Parent Room at the Raish Peavey Haskell Children's Cancer & Treatment Center in Brewer, and Camp Hope, a summer camp in Ellsworth for kids being treated for cancer or blood disorders.

It'll happen on Monday, July 29th, at Bangor Municipal Golf Course.

There's still time to sign up your team, or if you're a business owner, sponsor a hole!  Folks are hoping to raise over $70,000 for these two LOCAL causes!

The Playroom is a fabulous up to date facility where the kids can forget their problems for a while, and the Parent Room is a place where mom and dad can relax and confer with others.  Camp Hope is at Camp Jordan in Ellsworth, and a place where kids with cancer can enjoy themselves with others just like themselves.
