Boston's 9-game winning streak is their longest since they won 9 straight games April 5-14, 2019. Boston is now a season-high 7 games above .500 for the 1st time since August 21, 2024 when they were 67-60.

Crochet needed just 100 pitches. He didn't walk a batter and improved to 10-4. He lowered his Earned Run Average to 2.23. He leads the Major Leagues with 160 strikeouts and in innings pitched with 129.0 innings. He's 2nd in the American League with ERA

Trevor Story was 1-3 with a double, his 1000th career hit.

Roman Anthony was 1-3 with a double and scored in the 4th inning on Carlos Narvaez's single. Anthony now has a 8-game hitting streak.

Abraham Toro playing 1st base kept the game 1-0 when he threw out a runner at the plate on a safety squeeze. The Rays challenged the play, but the call on the field of out was confirmed.
