Former Trojan Molly Corson Named Coach of the Year in the Emerald League Conference in Seattle
Molly Corson a 2016 MDI High School graduate was awarded coach of the Year for Girls High School Varsity in the Emerald League Conference in Seattle Washington on Monday, February 7th.
This is her first year coaching at the High School varsity basketball level. Molly is the
coach at Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bellevue, Washington a small suburb outside Seattle. The Athletic Director there is also a MDI Alumni Jeanne Higgins. who graduated in 1988.
According to Molly
I led the Forest Ridge Ravens to 3rd place overall in conference play for this current season and we currently await our first playoff game this Friday February 1th in tournament play. It all brings back the hype feeling of Maine basketball playoffs at the old Bangor Civic Center, now Cross Insurance Center!
In addition to coaching Girls Basketball Molly is also the Varsity and Middle School Tennis Coach!
