Former Trojan Derek Collin Named NAC Rookie of the Week

Former MDI Trojan Derek Collin was named the North Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the 2nd time this year on Tuesday morning, February 4th.

According to a Husson press release, "In a 1-1 week in conference action, Collin led the Eagles with an average of 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. Collin scored a game-high and career-high on Friday night against UMaine-Farmington, draining 21 points on 3-for-4 shooting from downtown. He also tallied six boards, two assists, and a steal in the loss. In a win at Thomas on Saturday night, Collin collected six more rebounds, nine points, an assist, and a steal."
