Former MDI Trojans Ponce Saltysiak Named NAC Male Runner of the Week

Congratulations to former MDI Trojan, Ponce Saltysiak who was named the North Atlantic Conference Male Runner of the Week.

Satlysiak who is a senior at Maine Maritime Academy led the Mariners at the Ron Ouellette Invitational 5K, hosted by the University of New England, finished 7th overall out of 70 runner.  He was the top NAC performer at the meet, clocking a career-best time of 16:07 in the distance. He also ranked as the fourth-fastest NCAA Division III runner in the event
