Congratulations to former Ellsworth Eagle Michael Curtis who was selected to be inducted to the  Southern Maine Community College Athletic Hall of Fame, as part of the Class of 2021.

From the SMCC release

"Michael Curtis was a member of the Men’s Soccer program for two years (2012-2013) serving the team as an energetic center back and captain in his final season. Curtis helped anchor a defensive unit that recorded a 0.93 goals against average (GAA) in 2012 and a 1.75 GAA in 2013. Spanning his career at SMCC, the SeaWolves tallied a 22-11-1 overall record—going 18-6-1 in conference play. Curtis went on to continue his career at Husson University where he played in every match and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education"

Curtis graduated from Ellsworth High School in June of 2012.

The 2021 ceremony will be held at the Portland Sheraton at Sable Oaks (South Portland) on Friday, November 5th.
