Former EHS Eagle Ellie Clarke Named NEISDA Swimmer of the Week for 2nd Time This Season

Congratulations to former Ellsworth Eagle Ellie Clarke! Clarke, a 1st year student at Husson University in Bangor was named the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Swimmer of the Week for the 2nd time this season!

According to the Husson Athletic Department release

Clarke has been voted as the NEISDA Women's Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season. The first-year won each of her four individual events in which she competed in this past weekend, including recording the fastest 50 Back (29.77) split in both Saturday and Sunday's 200 Medley Relay field. Clarke set the school record in the 100 Back (1:03.65) in Sunday's six point loss to Norwich. She also won the 50 Back (29.63) and the 50 Free (26.81) against the visiting Cadets. She began her weekend performance on Saturday by winning the 50 Free (26.40) and swam the lead off leg of the Eagles' winning 200 Medley Relay.
